Dubai‑based NOHM Hospitality, the food‑and‑beverage arm of Downtown Ventures, has acquired a controlling stake in Baoli, the famed Cannes restaurant and nightlife brand, according to Gulf News. The agreement was signed in Paris on 12 October, with Brandon Joseph, senior vice‑president of strategy and business development at Downtown Ventures, leading the negotiations.
NOHM’s relationship with Baoli started in 2022 when it secured a franchise licence to open Baoli Dubai at J1 Beach. The Dubai outlet launched in November 2024 and quickly became a prominent beachfront venue. Buoyed by that success, NOHM moved from franchisee to owner.
Managing Director Sanjeev Nanda said the acquisition reflects the brand’s strong global appeal and that Dubai now serves as the flagship for Baoli’s future growth. He highlighted the city’s rebound in tourism, noting 6.97 million international visitors in the first eight months of 2026, with Western Europe as the top source market.
Founder Christophe Caucino described the moment as “very proud,” adding that the brand will expand to other glamorous locations such as St Tropez, Bodrum and Courchevel while preserving its original spirit.
