Vancouver pastry chef Calia Pacle is set to appear on Flavour Networks’ Holiday Bakeshop Season 2, which premieres on Sunday, Nov. 1.
The Canadian baking competition, hosted by actress Lauren Ash, will feature eight bakers tackling holiday‑themed challenges. The winner will receive a $25,000 cash prize.
Pacle, who previously competed on Food Network’s Halloween Wars Season 14, announced her participation on Instagram, saying she feels “blessed” and “so excited” for viewers.
Other Canadian contestants include José Castillo (Victoria, B.C.), Diana Grocott (Owen Sound, Ont.), Francena Jagroop and Jess Lee (both Toronto, Ont.). Fans can sample Pacle’s baked goods at Selene Aegean Bistro.
