X adds Major League Baseball to its Gametime sports hub
The social platform’s Gametime hub now includes live MLB scores, stats and creator content as it seeks more ad revenue.

X announced on Wednesday that its Gametime hub, originally launched for NFL fans, will now cover Major League Baseball. The new MLB experience, arriving later this month, will let users follow postseason discussions, view scores, stats, team and league content, as well as creator posts and real‑time chats.
The rollout follows X’s presentation at Advertising Week New York, where the company said Gametime will become a year‑round destination for all professional sports, though the full expansion is not yet live. SpaceXAI’s Head of Global Advertising, Monique Pintarelli, said the feature has grown from a football‑focused product to a scalable sports destination attracting strong demand from advertisers across payments and consumer goods.
The move is part of X’s broader effort to win back advertisers after a July settlement with the World Federation of Advertisers, which resolved a dispute over brand‑safety concerns. X said the settlement “resets the relationship” and commits to both free speech and new brand‑safety innovations.
