Meta announced on Wednesday that its Muse AI assistant is now offered as a dedicated iPad app, arriving just a month after the iPhone launch. The move follows the September 8 debut on iOS and Android, which TechCrunch says has already generated more than 6.6 million installs, according to Sensor Tower.
The iPad version adds a refreshed set of "connectors" for small‑business tools such as Asana, Canva, Dropbox, Figma, QuickBooks, GitHub, Klaviyo and Zoom, plus Meta ad‑account integration. New retail partners – Best Buy, Gap, Sephora, Walmart and Wayfair – let users shop and complete purchases through the assistant.
Meta is also working with industry partners on an open‑standard solution that would let personal AI agents identify themselves to websites, aiming to reduce blocks that occur when sites mistake agents for bots.
