The new Muse assistant can create ad campaigns, analyse financial data and handle email for small firms, according to Meta.

Meta announced on September 29 that it is releasing Muse for Small Business, an AI assistant aimed at helping owners with tasks such as ad creation, financial analysis and email management. The tool is offered as a chat interface and can also act on the user’s behalf after permission.

Tom Mulholland, a 66‑year‑old grocery owner in Malvern, Iowa, said the assistant could free him from office work so he can focus on the meat‑cutting side of his business. April Polk, founder and CEO of Columbus‑based clothing brand JaeLuxe Shoetique, described Muse as a “secret weapon,” noting that it revamped her brand guidelines, website and email flows, and helped design an influencer campaign.

Meta said the assistant will be available in the United States and Canada through both its website and app stores, and that it will not take actions without explicit user permission.
