Amazon’s October Prime Day, branded as Big Deal Days, runs on Oct 6‑7 and includes sizable discounts on earbuds and Bluetooth speakers, according to Mashable and Rolling Stone.

What happened

During the two‑day event, Mashable highlighted a selection of earbuds on sale, including Apple AirPods 4 for $79 at Walmart, Bose QuietComfort Ultra 2nd‑gen earbuds for $129 on Amazon, and Anker Soundcore Sleep A30 Special earbuds priced at $159.99 after a $40 discount. Rolling Stone listed a range of Bluetooth speakers, from portable Beats Pill units to higher‑end Bose and hi‑fi models, all marked down for the Prime Day window.

What the reports add

• Mashable noted that the AirPods 4 provide a 30‑hour battery life, a smaller USB‑C charging case, and that the base model lacks active‑noise cancellation.
• The Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds are praised for comfort, multiple ear‑tip options, and are described as the best budget earbuds in Mashable’s analysis.
• Rolling Stone explained that non‑Prime shoppers can sign up for a 30‑day free trial to access the deals, and that many speaker discounts are also available at other retailers.
• Rolling Stone’s speaker roundup includes specific price points: Beats Pill (price not listed), Ultimate Ears Boom 4 for $100 (down from $150), Bose SoundLink Flex at its lowest price in months, JBL Go 4 for $35, and Marshall Emberton III as the cheapest Amazon option.
• Party‑ready speakers highlighted include Soundcore Boom 2, Sony ULT Field 5, Marshall Bromley 450 with $200 off, JBL PartyBox 330 with $130 off, and JBL Partybox Encore with $120 off.

What was said

“They’re focused on a great fit, as they come with multiple ear tips and multiple bands you can change out on the earbuds for a better fit on the crest of your ear,” wrote Mashable Lead Shopping Reporter Bethany Allard.

Bethany Allard called the Anker Soundcore Sleep A30 Special “the top sleep‑earbud on the market.”

How it came about
