On Oct. 6, the first day of Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, Mashable notes that the Soundcore Sleep A30 Special earbuds are priced at $159.99 on Amazon, a $40 discount from the $199.99 list price and the lowest price recorded for the model.
What happened
The earbuds, marketed as sleep‑focused audio devices, are now $159.99 on Amazon, down $40 from the manufacturer’s listed price. The discount represents a 20% reduction and coincides with the launch of Prime Big Deal Days, a two‑day Amazon sales event running Oct. 6–7.
What the report adds
Mashable’s shopping reporter Bethany Allard tested several sleep earbuds and concluded the Sleep A30 Special “sit head and shoulders above all other available sleep earbuds.” The article highlights that the A30 Special is the only sleep earbud on the market with active‑noise cancellation (ANC) and offers five soundscapes, including AI‑generated brainwave audio, snore masking, white noise, Calm app sleep stories, and Calm app meditations. Allard also notes improved battery life, a slimmer profile than earlier Soundcore models, and comfort for side, back, and belly sleepers.
What was said
Allard is quoted saying, "The Sleep A30 Special earbuds aren't just better than their predecessors — they officially sit head and shoulders above all other available sleep earbuds," as reported by Mashable.
How it came about
The discount aligns with Amazon’s broader Prime Big Deal Days promotion, which Felo previously covered in its October Prime Day guide (see Amazon October Prime Day 2026). Earlier Prime Day coverage also highlighted early headphone deals, setting the context for this earbuds offer.
