Tintswalo Collection announced on 7 Oct 2026 a new programme of conservation experiences and talks for guests staying at its three Cape Town properties – Tintswalo Atlantic, Tintswalo Boulders and Tintswalo Summer House – in partnership with South African National Parks (SanParks) and the SanParks Honorary Rangers.
The Cape Peninsula Conservation Experience starts at Boulders Beach, home to the endangered African penguin, and continues to the Cape of Good Hope, where Honorary Rangers lead guests through wildlife, marine life, birdlife and indigenous fynbos habitats. The package includes return transport, park entry fees, a picnic lunch, snorkel gear and towels.
A second offering, the Back Table Mountain Conservation Experience, gives participants a choice between two routes: the Orangekloof Valley‑Disa River trail, which passes indigenous forest and historic waterworks, or the Woodhead Reservoir‑Echo Valley trail, which highlights the mountain’s water‑supply history and the endangered Table Mountain Ghost Frog’s habitat. Both routes end with a mountain picnic.
In addition, Tintswalo will host Conservation Science Talks at each property, led by Honorary Rangers and guest experts, covering national‑park initiatives, research and biodiversity protection. Kenneth Carden, a member of the SanParks Honorary Rangers, explained that the volunteer organisation supports parks through fundraising, education, tourism support and hands‑on assistance.
