Next Generation Collective launches for young Hollywood mental health

Founded by Lilah Kojoori, the new group aims to give guidance and resources to young talent and their families.

Next Generation Collective (NGC) was unveiled on Oct. 6 at Hollywood & Mind’s inaugural summit in New York, according to Variety. The initiative, founded by PR veteran Lilah Kojoori, brings together clinical expertise from The Kids Mental Health Foundation, industry leaders and individuals with lived experience to address mental‑health challenges faced by young people in entertainment.

Kojoori said young entertainers “deserve real support along the way,” and highlighted the collective’s plan to develop resources, education and support for talent, families and industry partners beginning in 2027. The advisory board features Angel Carter Conrad, Logan Henderson, Isabela Merced, Kel Mitchell, Soleil Moon Frye, Hudson Yang and Breanna Yde, among others.

Dr. Ariana Hoet, executive clinical director of The Kids Mental Health Foundation, praised the launch as “thoughtful” and noted its potential to shape future mental‑health work. Hollywood & Mind founder Cathy Applefeld Olson added that the partnership will help young people thrive personally and professionally.
