Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff survived a shooting near his Mumbai home on Sunday evening, when gunmen fired five shots at his BMW close to Pushpa Park in Juhu, Gulf News reported.

The attack occurred at around 7 pm as Shroff was returning from a football match. Three men on a motorcycle arrived; two opened fire while the third stayed with the bike to aid their escape. Videos online appear to show the suspects speeding away.

Shroff was not hit, but his driver and a nearby autorickshaw driver were wounded. Police have set up 15 teams to locate the attackers, and one person was detained in Santacruz for questioning, according to the Indian Express as cited by Gulf News.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde visited the family’s home hours after the shooting, saying the actor suffered hand injuries from gunpowder and shattered glass and describing the incident as "serious and condemnable." He warned that intimidation would not be tolerated and pledged state protection for public figures. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also called Shroff and assured a swift arrest of the perpetrators.

Shroff’s mother, Ayesha Shroff, broke her silence in an India Today interview, giving a thumbs‑up and saying, "God is great." Former girlfriend Disha Patani was among several people who visited the actor’s home later that night.
