Quentin Tarantino told the Graham Norton Show on Oct. 17 that he has completed a script for the feature film he intends to make as his tenth and final movie. He said he will not move forward with the project until his newly opened West End play, The Popinjay Cavalier, finishes its run.

During the interview, Tarantino explained, “I’ve written a script that I really like, but I want to do the play and see who I am; then I’ll go back and spend time with my family and live a little and then see what I want to do.” The play, starring Sacha Baron Cohen, is set to open at London’s Phoenix Theatre in March 2027 and run for three months, closing on June 13.

Tarantino added that the play began as a screenplay before he decided it worked better on stage. He said he is eager to give West End audiences “a great night out.”
