Miley Cyrus has collaborated with fashion photographer and director Mert Alas to produce three separate music videos for her new album Bass Persuades. The videos correspond to the tracks “Bass Persuades,” “Let’s Get Married,” and “Different Religion,” and are part of the promotion ahead of her Hollywood Bowl performances on October 16 and 18, according to Vogue.

Alas, who also shot the album cover, said the partnership allowed them to showcase the many facets of Cyrus’s artistry. “Doing a project with a friend is always fun, but it was also incredibly exciting to collaborate with such a talented musician and artist as Miley,” he told Vogue. The pair met at the Chateau Marmont after Cyrus sent a message asking when she would be in Los Angeles; they reviewed the entire album the next day and began planning the visuals immediately.

The first video, for the dance‑floor lead single “Bass Persuades,” draws on 80s‑2000s pop icons and aims to convey “raw, dangerous, and beautiful confidence,” according to Alas. The other two videos, for “Let’s Get Married” and “Different Religion,” continue the theme of reflecting Cyrus’s varied musical and personal journeys.
