Actor Dennis Haskins, best known for playing Principal Richard Belding on the “Saved by the Bell” franchises, died on Sept. 27, 2026, according to his friend and longtime caretaker Kimberly Snow.

Snow told The Times that Haskins had quietly fought Parkinson’s disease and other health issues, and that his death occurred at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, citing the death certificate obtained by TMZ, listed Parkinson’s disease as the immediate cause of death.

The certificate also recorded irritable bowel syndrome, depression, hypertension and benign prostatic hyperplasia among the conditions Haskins battled. Snow shared a tribute on Instagram, recalling his frequent visits to the now‑closed Dimples Karaoke, where patrons often thought he owned the venue.

Haskins appeared as Mr. Belding across seven series, including “Good Morning, Miss Bliss,” “Saved by the Bell,” “The College Years,” “The New Class,” “The Rerun Show,” “Robot Chicken” and “Victorious.”
