Chris Colfer told Bustle on Tuesday that he has "heard absolutely nothing" about a potential Glee reboot, even as creator Ryan Murphy said a script is completed.
Colfer, who played Kurt Hummel for six seasons, said he wishes he knew more and added that fans would "come after me with pitchforks and jazz hands" if he declined to return. He noted the difficulty of reviving the show now that former cast member Naya Rivera has passed away.
Murphy revealed in August to The Hollywood Reporter that he was considering a revival, citing the show’s lasting fan base. In September, he told Entertainment Tonight that he, co‑creator Brad Falchuk and writer Ian Brennan had finished a script and had spoken with about ten original cast members, all of whom were enthusiastic, though no one had read the script yet.
