Billboard announced on Sept. 30 that Hilary Duff will be honored with its Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award at the 2026 Billboard Live Music Summit, scheduled for Nov. 10 in Los Angeles.
What happened
The award recognizes Duff’s Lucky Me World Tour, which was extended through 2027 after strong ticket demand. The summit will take place at 1 Hotel West Hollywood and will feature panels, networking, and a ceremony.
What the reports add
Billboard notes that the summit’s programming is overseen by senior editor Eric Renner Brown and includes a networking lunch sponsored by AEG Presents, a cocktail hour, and a pre‑summit reception on Nov. 9 sponsored by THE·TEAM. Sponsors listed are VENU, AEG Presents, Moody Center, Tacoma Dome, THE·TEAM and Allegiant Stadium.
What was said
Jason Lipshutz, Billboard’s co‑chief content officer, said, “Billboard’s Live Music Summit will once again gather leading executives from every corner of the sector, along with major touring artists, for an event dedicated to those defining the concert business today,” as reported by Billboard.
How it came about
After a nearly two‑decade hiatus from touring, Duff launched the Lucky Me Tour to promote her February album Luck… Or Something. The tour’s success led to the award recognition and the summit invitation.
