Dentsu Africa has formalised an affiliate partnership with Malawi's Blitz Interactive Agency Limited, creating an official dentsu presence in the country, bizcommunity.com reported on 6 Oct 2026.
The agreement was signed by Chishimba Musonda, managing director of dentsu Zambia, and George Damson, managing director of Blitz Interactive. It follows years of collaboration that began when dentsu Zambia started supporting cross‑border clients operating in Malawi in 2020.
Blitz Interactive, founded in 2014 in Blantyre, has grown into one of Malawi’s most respected independent agencies, serving local, regional and international brands. Musonda said the partnership reflects a deliberate choice to find a long‑term partner whose culture and entrepreneurial mindset match dentsu’s, rather than pursuing rapid expansion.
Damson recalled starting Blitz in a one‑room office in 2014 and highlighted that the partnership was built on “shared values, mutual respect and a common vision for growth”. Both executives stressed that the alliance will enable clients to access integrated media, creative, data and marketing solutions across Southern Africa.
The new affiliate structure is expected to open further opportunities for both firms’ people and clients, positioning dentsu to deliver greater value in the Malawian market.
