Dell Technologies announced that its 2026 Forum will be held at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Johannesburg on 3 November 2026. The two‑day programme will feature Dell executives and specialists, live demos and peer networking, aimed at helping South African organisations scale AI, modernise infrastructure and build resilient digital environments.
The agenda highlights five themes: practical steps for scaling AI securely; simplifying infrastructure for AI‑intensive workloads; sovereign AI and trusted data governance; AI‑ready workplaces with intelligent devices; and embedding cyber‑resilience by design. IDC forecasts AI spending in EMEA to reach $319 billion in 2026, growing 19.2% year‑over‑year, far outpacing overall IT spend.
Habib Mahakian, Vice President for Southern and Sub‑Saharan Africa at Dell Technologies, said AI adoption in South Africa has moved from experimentation to a focus on readying infrastructure, data, devices and security for large‑scale deployment. He added that the Forum will help customers reduce complexity, modernise with confidence and address sovereign AI and data‑trust concerns.
