US Coast Guard officials said debris from a Gulfstream G100 medical transport plane that disappeared early Saturday was found floating off Nantucket, Massachusetts. The aircraft, carrying six people, vanished from FAA radar shortly before its scheduled 1:25 a.m. landing at Boston Logan International Airport while en route from Bermuda’s L.F. Wade International Airport, according to the Coast Guard and FlightAware.
Coast Guard cutter William Sparling crews arrived at the scene and began sifting through the wreckage to identify aircraft parts, a Coast Guard spokesperson told the New York Post on Saturday night. The agency said a full‑scale investigation will likely be led by the National Transportation Safety Board, with possible involvement from Canada’s Transportation Safety Board.
