Apple today widened the reach of its watchOS 27.0.1 update, making the bug‑fix patch available to all Apple Watch models that support watchOS 27. The rollout follows last week’s limited release for the Series 12 and Ultra 4.
According to 9to5mac, the update fixes an issue that could cause some devices to restart unexpectedly. The same release notes and build number (24R365) that were used for the Series 12 and Ultra 4 are now being pushed to the Apple Watch SE 3, Series 9, Series 10, Series 11, Ultra 2 and Ultra 3.
Apple also released iOS 27.0.1, iPadOS 27.0.1, visionOS 27.0.1, iOS 26.7.1, macOS 27.0.1 Golden Gate, macOS Tahoe 26.7.1 and macOS Sequoia 15.8.1 on the same day. The iOS update, for example, fixes a restart problem on certain iPhone 18 Pro models when using Face ID, while the other releases contain additional bug fixes and security improvements.
