Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days, running Oct. 6‑7, include robot vacuum and Kindle e‑reader discounts, Mashable reported.

What happened

During the Prime Big Deal Days sale, robot vacuum models such as the Roborock Q7 L5 combo and the Shark AI Ultra self‑emptying unit were listed at $119.99 and $249.99 respectively, with the lowest price starting at $85.48. The sale runs through Oct. 7, and Mashable updated the price list as the event progressed. In the same timeframe, all 2024 Kindle models were offered at reduced prices, with the top‑rated Kindle deal priced at $169.99, a $80 discount from its regular price.

What the reports add

Mashable’s robot‑vacuum roundup notes that the Roborock Q10 S5+ was praised for quiet operation and LiDAR mapping, while the Shark AI Ultra’s dock was described as noisy. The Kindle article adds that recent price hikes in August had pushed Kindle prices up $50, so the current discounts roll back those increases but do not reach all‑time lows. Both pieces mention that the deals end when Prime Big Deal Days close on Oct. 7.

What was said

Leah Stodart, Mashable’s former robot‑vacuum expert, said the Roborock Q10 S5+ was “notably quiet, including when it emptied its dustbin,” and highlighted its compact dock as space‑saving. The Kindle article quotes an unnamed Mashable writer noting, “All of the 2024 models are on sale, rolling back the recent price hikes,” and warns that “none of the 2026 models are on sale, nor do we expect them to be.”

How it came about

Amazon announced the Oct. 6‑7 Prime Big Deal Days in September, with early‑bird promotions on devices such as Echo speakers and Kindle readers (Amazon October Prime Day 2026). Mashable’s listings build on that announcement, providing specific price points for robot vacuums and Kindles as the sale unfolded.
