UAE Ministry of Culture opens applications for second Modern Heritage Grand Program
Applications are open until 31 October for grants covering research, creativity and digital conservation.

Abu Dhabi – The UAE Ministry of Culture announced the launch of the second cycle of its Modern Heritage Grand Program for 2026‑2027, inviting researchers and creatives to apply for grants by 31 October 2026 via the ministry’s website.
The programme, themed “Modern Heritage as a Living Practice: Adoption, Memory, Contribution and the Future,” is run with Zayed University and the National CSR Fund’s MAJRA. It offers four grant categories, including two new ones and a Research Initiation Fund for emerging scholars.
Selected beneficiaries will receive individual support sessions, orientation, midway presentations with regional and international experts, guidance from the Modern Heritage Technical Committee, letters of support, library access at Zayed University, full coverage of a final exhibition and participation in the Annual Modern Heritage Symposium.
