Spur, the South African restaurant chain, will open the One Young World Summit in Cape Town with its "taste for life" at the opening‑night dinner, according to Bizcommunity. The summit gathers roughly 2,000 young leaders from more than 190 countries for four days of dialogue, learning and collaboration from 3 to 6 November 2026.
Vuyo Henda, chief marketing officer and executive director of Spur Corporation, said a shared meal can turn strangers into people who listen to one another, exchange stories and discover common ground. He added that participating in One Young World reinforces Spur’s commitment to creating positive, sustainable change through South African hospitality.
After the summit, delegates will join a global network of One Young World ambassadors and continue collaborating across countries and sectors to drive change.
