Sienna Spiro walked the red carpet for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in a champagne‑hued, bejeweled nude illusion gown that featured a deep neckline and a signature bouffant hairstyle. The singer, who has been dubbed “the voice of Gen Z Yearners” by Elle, used the look to celebrate her first nomination for Best New Artist and her debut performance on the telecast.

In a September feature with The File, Spiro explained that her style is heavily influenced by the 1960s, citing icons such as the Ronettes, the Shangri‑Las and the Supremes. She said, “I’ve always loved the ’60s. That’s the era my dad was born in, and he showed me all the ’60s greats… I always loved big hair, especially from British icons. That style felt most true to me.” Spiro added that the outfit and hair help her feel authentic on stage.

Her nomination places her among a field that includes Bella Kay, Cortis, Magnus Ferrell, Malcolm Todd, Myles Smith and Stella Lefty. The singer will also perform during the ceremony, adding to the event’s lineup that already features Madonna’s opening act and a tribute to George Michael.
