Sharjah announced the launch of Najm, an AI‑driven agent designed to guide investors through the emirate’s real‑estate and business landscape, at the ninth Sharjah Investment Forum on 14 October 2026, Gulf News reported.
What happened
During the two‑day forum, held under the theme “Building Adaptive Economies”, Mohamed Juma Al Musharrkh, CEO of the Sharjah FDI Office (Invest in Sharjah), demonstrated Najm’s functionality. An investor enters basic details about the intended business, and the AI returns suitable land parcels, commercial or industrial sites, and potential partnership options.
What the reports add
The article explains that Najm consolidates information from four data streams in its first phase: property listings from Bayut, Dubizzle and Property Finder; public data from Sharjah government entities; sector‑specific regulatory information; and Invest in Sharjah’s foreign‑direct‑investment insights. In a second phase, the platform will add live, verified partnership opportunities with Sharjah entities.
What was said
Al Musharrkh told Gulf News that Najm replaces a “fragmented search” where investors currently have to check multiple platforms, allowing them to receive answers without waiting for an adviser and even before arriving in Sharjah.
How it came about
Invest in Sharjah signed three memorandums of understanding to feed Najm with data: one with the Sharjah Department of Town Planning and Survey, and two with property portals Property Finder and Bayut/Dubizzle. The forum was opened by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah, and featured remarks from H. E. Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of Shurooq, the Sharjah Investment and Development Authority.
