Amazon has begun offering early Prime Day discounts on power tools, with price cuts announced ahead of the official Oct. 6‑7 event, Mashable reported.
Among the highlighted deals, a DeWalt set featuring a compact impact driver and drill/driver is listed at $149, down $90 from its regular $239 price. The kit includes LED‑lit tools and a one‑handed hex chuck on the driver.
A Craftsman combo, also comprising a drill/driver and impact driver with two V20 batteries, a charger and a storage bag, is offered for $99, a $70 reduction from $169. Both tools feature LED lights and compact handles, with the drill offering two speed settings and the driver delivering up to 1,460 in‑lb of torque.
Greenworks presents a four‑tool kit – drill, impact driver, reciprocating saw and flashlight – for $219.99, $20 less than its $239.99 list price. The brushless tools provide variable‑speed control, the saw includes a tool‑free blade change, and the batteries support USB‑C charging.
Additional lower‑priced options include a PULITUO 20V cordless drill/driver at $35.98 (down $14.01) and a Fantik E2 Ultra electric screwdriver at $55.99 (down $24). The article notes that shoppers can use these early offers to build or expand a home DIY toolkit before Prime Day pricing peaks.
