Design Democracy featured a Sculpted India kiosk that displayed sculptures by seven notable Indian artists, according to newindianexpress.com.
Sanya Malik, managing partner of Sculpted India, said the selection included works by Krishen Khanna, Thota Vaikuntam, Jogen Chowdhury, Himmat Shah, Dhananjay Singh, Phaneendra Nath Chaturvedi and Yashika Sugandh, spanning modern and contemporary generations.
Malik explained that the curatorial aim was to show how sculpture functions as a way of thinking, choosing pieces that link idea, material and form.
She added that the platform seeks greater visibility for sculpture within India’s art ecosystem, describing it as “one of the most powerful yet under‑represented areas.”
