During Billboard Latin Music Week on Oct. 20, 2026, Venezuelan trippy‑pop band Rawayana unveiled its first world arena tour, titled "¿Dónde Es El After?", in partnership with Live Nation.
What happened
The panel "Rawayana Beyond the Stage" featured lead singer Alberto “Beto” Montenegro, drummer Andrés “Fofo” Story, bassist Antonio “Tony” Casas, guitarist Alejandro “Abeja” Abeijón, and Live Nation senior vice president of global touring Hans Schafer. They announced a 23‑date North American leg that began on Oct. 15 at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco and will travel through Atlanta, Toronto, New York, Chicago and Los Angeles, ending with three sold‑out shows in Miami in December.
What the reports add
Billboard noted that the tour supports the band’s album "¿Dónde Es El After?" released on their indie label Broccoli Records and distributed by Rimas Entertainment. The album has been nominated for Album of the Year at the 2026 Latin Grammys and the band is a finalist at the Billboard Latin Music Awards scheduled for Oct. 22.
What was said
Hans Schafer, described by Billboard as its 2026 Latin Power Players Executive of the Year, said Rawayana’s vision was clear from a laptop presentation and praised the band’s unique identity. Montenegro told Billboard, "We’re Venezuelans, and coming from a place where there was basically no foundation or structure for anything, we had to invent, produce our own concerts and intuitively learn every aspect of the business." Story added that the tour reflects the band’s evolution from self‑produced shows to a global arena presence.
How it came about
The tour concept originated from a laptop PowerPoint presentation by Montenegro, which Schafer described as the catalyst for Live Nation’s involvement. Earlier in April, Rawayana began its first world tour, selling out arenas across Europe and Latin America, setting the stage for the expanded North American dates announced at the Miami‑based panel.
