NASA announced that it has added Blue Origin’s New Glenn 9×4 launch service to the agency’s Launch Services (NLS) II contract, according to a contract release posted on Sep 29, 2026.
The NLS II contracts are multiple‑award, indefinite‑delivery/indefinite‑quantity agreements with an ordering period that runs through June 2030 and an overall performance period through Dec 2032. An on‑ramp clause in the contract allows new launch providers to be added each year, and the New Glenn 9×4 service will now be available to NASA’s Launch Services Program Office for future missions.
The contracts support NASA’s Human Spaceflight, Science, and Research & Technology mission directorates and also permit NASA to provide launch services to other government agencies, such as NOAA.
