Lacey‑Jay Bullock, 45, was charged with murder and driving while disqualified after her husband, Bradley Bullock, 50, died from injuries sustained when a car struck him on Stoneywood Street in Fernvale, about 60 km east of Brisbane, on Sunday afternoon.

Police were called to the scene where neighbours attempted CPR, but the victim could not be revived, Ipswich District Detective Inspector Mick Manago said.

At a brief mention in Ipswich Magistrates Court on Tuesday, Bullock’s duty solicitor sought a three‑week adjournment and did not apply for bail. Magistrate Jason Schubert remanded her in custody and scheduled the matter to return on 21 October.

The couple were known to police, with prior domestic‑violence related visits to their home, and an adult child was present at the time of the incident.

Support services were listed for victims of domestic and family violence.
