After the Los Angeles Rams lost 37-34 in overtime to the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football, the team cut kicker Harrison Mevis, according to NFL insider Ian Rapoport. The Rams’ decision followed Mevis missing a 50‑yard attempt in the first quarter and a 48‑yard try in overtime, both of which could have altered the result.
On Friday, Kelly Stafford shared an Instagram carousel of game‑day photos with her four daughters. In the caption she wrote, “God had a different plan than having that ball go through the uprights, but whatever the plan is, we trust it. The plan does, however, always include cute fits.” Sportskeeda reported that the wording was interpreted as a subtle jab at Mevis’s field‑goal slump.
The post also featured Kelly styling a Rams windbreaker with a black leather mini skirt and white Nike sneakers, while her daughters wore coordinated outfits with “Stafford” embroidered on the collars. The images included a few shots of Matthew Stafford and other fit‑check pictures.
Sportskeeda noted that Mevis’s missed kicks had drawn criticism from fans and celebrities, and that the Rams released him less than a day after the loss.
