Defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons addressed trade speculation on Wednesday, saying he has heard nothing from his agent or the Tennessee Titans organization and intends to stay with the team.
"Each and every day I wake up, my goal is just to be where my feet are at. Never looking ahead, just be in the moment," Simmons told reporters, according to Bleacher Report. He added that distractions from fans and media do not affect his focus.
Simmons, 29, is a four‑time Pro Bowler and last season’s first‑team All‑Pro after posting a career‑high 11 sacks. In seven games this season he has 38 tackles, four sacks and a forced fumble.
