IMDb announced on Wednesday that its Pro service now includes two networking tools – “Connections” and “Endorsements” – designed to let entertainment professionals link with colleagues and write public recommendations, the outlet reported.

Both features are limited to IMDbPro members who have claimed a personal page and require approval from each party before a connection is confirmed. "IMDbPro has long been the place where entertainment professionals represent their work and discover the people and projects that matter to their careers," said Nikki Santoro, CEO of IMDb, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter.

According to the report, the rollout aims to help users showcase verified credits and build reputations that are easier for industry decision‑makers to trust.
