Fans follow a LinkedIn page claiming to be the Indian cricket star, though neither Kohli nor his team has verified it.

An alleged LinkedIn profile presenting Indian cricket star Virat Kohli as a professional athlete and entrepreneur has gone viral, attracting more than 14,000 followers, india.com reported on 13 October.

The page describes Kohli as linked to the Board of Control for Cricket in India, an investor in sportswear brand Agilitas since 2025, and a co‑founder of one8world from 2026. It lacks a verification badge, unlike profiles of Rishabh Pant and Sachin Tendulkar, and shows no LinkedIn Premium subscription.

Fans note the profile’s message about supporting Indian sports and building a post‑cricket business career, quoting Kohli: “I have always wanted to see an India where every sport is followed, celebrated and played…”. The account’s authenticity has not been confirmed by Kohli or his management.

Meanwhile, Kohli continued his on‑field form, scoring an unbeaten 139 off 88 balls in the first ODI against West Indies and reaching 15,000 ODI runs, becoming the second player after Tendulkar to do so.
