Night one of Head Trip 2026 on the Coachella grounds in Indio, Calif., was ended early after a lightning alert, Billboard reported. At 9 p.m. PT on Saturday, a set by Under Construction – the duo of Fisher and Chris Lake – was cut off, and attendees were instructed to seek shelter in vehicles or shuttles.
Within thirty minutes the festival app announced that the show would not resume because lightning continued to move into the Coachella Valley as tropical storm Rachel approached the Southern California coast. Calvin Harris, scheduled to headline at 9:30 p.m., was not able to take the stage.
Day two is set to begin in the early afternoon with performances by DJ Harvey, The Blessed Madonna, Dom Dolla b2b Kettama, Skrillex and Swedish House Mafia.
