Heritage Park in Calgary will host Ghouls’ Night Out from Oct. 20‑22, offering a mix of Halloween‑themed activities, a market, live theatre and an adults‑only evening on Thursday, Oct. 22, according to Daily Hive.
What happened
The event spans three days and includes a range of attractions across the park’s Historical Village. Visitors can explore the Alberta Ghostbusters headquarters in the Celebration tent, listen to kid‑friendly spooky stories at the Weedon School, play a life‑size version of the Operation game at the Atlas Lumber Yard, and decorate Halloween cookies at Innovation Crossing. A hearse will cruise the village, and roaming characters will appear throughout. Evening programming includes a dance party at the Didsbury Bandstand, a haunted maze in the Celebration Field, and a Halloween market in the Chautauqua Tent.
What the reports add
Daily Hive notes that four Halloween‑themed theatre productions will run each night with multiple showtimes. "Frankenstein and the Monster" will be staged at the Canmore Opera House, the "Halloween Royal Rumble" in the greenspace between Town Hall and the Alberta Bakery, "Still Ghostbusting" on the Prince House Lawn, and a Scooby‑Doo‑themed show at an unspecified location.
