At the Los Angeles premiere of the live‑action Street Fighter film on Oct. 12, 2026, 50 Cent told the Associated Press that Eminem has put the soundtrack aside to concentrate on his upcoming album.
"Em, he put a couple pieces together for it and decided because he got closer to his album, he kinda fell back on that because he’s preparing his presentation for the next album," 50 Cent said, according to Billboard.
The Detroit rapper’s last album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce), debuted at No. 1 in July 2024, moving 281,000 album‑equivalent units, per Luminate data cited by Billboard.
Earlier in the year, 50 Cent teased a posthumous collaboration with 2Pac for the Street Fighter movie, which may appear on Eminem’s new record, though details remain scarce.
