Corel has added a Text‑to‑Vector AI feature to its September 2026 update of the CorelDRAW Graphics Suite. The tool can generate vector artwork from a text prompt or from reference content such as an illustration, logo or photo. The output is fully editable – colours, shapes and individual nodes can be tweaked as if the designer had drawn them manually.
During a demo, Corel showed the AI recreating icons in the style of a 600‑object illustration by Pawel Pergol. The resulting assets opened in the Objects panel, where they could be broken down to curves and nodes. Corel’s Product Management lead Jenny John highlighted that the reference workflow gives designers a controllable starting point rather than an end product. “That’s really where the artist’s work begins,” she said.
The update offers three models: Vector Spark for quick, simple jobs; Vector Craft as an all‑rounder; and Vector Master for complex designs and variations from reference content. Corel aims to make the AI more customisable, allowing users to tweak specific elements without rewriting the whole piece.
