CMF launches €69 Speaker S with modular knobs and IP68 rating
The compact Bluetooth Speaker S delivers 10 W sound, interchangeable front panels and a multi‑function rotary knob.
By Felo News Desk · Published
CMF introduced the Speaker S, a €69 compact Bluetooth speaker that ships in a simple box without accessories, according to gsmarena.com.
What happened
The Speaker S provides 10 W output through a 45 mm driver covering 70 Hz‑20 kHz, supplemented by two passive radiators for bass simulation. It is offered in White, Red, Black and Cyan, each with a distinct rotating knob – lever‑style for White and Red, X‑shaped for Red and ring‑shaped for Cyan. The device is rated IP68 for dust and immersion resistance and is sold directly by CMF in Europe, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and North America.
What the reports add
Gsmarena notes that the speaker’s modular design lets users unclip a lock button on the back to swap the front panel or knob between units, although CMF does not sell these parts separately. The review also compares the Speaker S to the larger €114 Speaker M, which delivers twice the power.
What was said
The outlet reports that CMF openly acknowledges the Speaker S’s design was inspired by a milk carton. It describes the knob as “smart”, noting a single press controls volume, a second press triggers playback, and a third press advances tracks.
How it came about
CMF’s focus on modularity follows its recent product releases, such as the TDM Neo headphones‑speaker hybrid covered by Felo News on 2026‑10‑23. The Speaker S continues the brand’s trend of offering customizable, portable audio devices.
