Bon Jovi have been confirmed as the first headliner for British Summer Time (BST) Hyde Park in 2027, performing on Thursday 24 June as part of their Forever Tour, according to both the Standard and the Independent.
What happened
The band, which first opened the BST festival in 2013, will return to the London venue 14 years later. The announcement was made on 19 October 2026. Tickets go on general sale on Friday 23 October at 10 am BST, following three pre‑sale windows that began the same day at 1 pm.
What the reports add
The Standard notes that Bon Jovi’s 2026 schedule included nine sold‑out shows at New York’s Madison Square Garden, plus concerts in Edinburgh, Dublin and three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium. The Independent adds that the band’s recent stadium tour supported the “Forever (Legendary Edition)” album, featuring guest contributions from Bruce Springsteen and Robbie Williams. Both outlets quote frontman Jon Bon Jovi describing the 2027 Hyde Park show as a “full circle moment”.
What was said
Jon Bon Jovi said in a statement, “We have a storied history with performing at Hyde Park on previous tours and it’s a full circle moment to be returning to BST Hyde Park, 14 years after headlining the very first festival.” He added, “The Forever Tour has been an incredible celebration of the music and the fans who have been with us all these years… To bring that energy back to Hyde Park means a lot to us.” Jim King, chief executive of AEG Presents UK and European Festivals, told the Standard, “Bon Jovi helped launch BST Hyde Park in 2013, and it’s a pleasure to welcome them back. They are one of the defining rock bands of their generation.”
How it came about
BST Hyde Park launched in 2013 with Bon Jovi as its inaugural headliner. The festival has since become a staple of London’s summer music calendar, featuring a rotating roster of international acts. Felo’s earlier coverage of the 2027 Glastonbury headliners highlighted the broader festival season in the UK, underscoring the significance of Bon Jovi’s return to BST as part of the summer circuit.
