Jude Bellingham described Harry Kane as “the best England player to have worn the shirt” after the striker’s 125th cap and two goals helped England beat the Czech Republic 3‑0 in the Nations League on Tuesday.

Kane equalled Peter Shilton’s appearance record, scored a brace and provided an assist when Vladimir Coufal’s cross went in off his own net. He was later substituted for Dominic Calvert‑Lewin to a standing ovation at Wembley.

Bellingham told ITV, “He’s an unbelievable human being… on the pitch he’s the best England player to have worn the shirt.” Manager Thomas Tuchel added, “It’s what he does… he is just exceptional every single match.”

England now need to avoid an eight‑goal loss to Croatia in November to secure a Nations League quarter‑final spot.
