Apple outlined a series of Creator Studio upgrades covering Pixelmator Pro, Final Cut Pro, Motion, Compressor and its productivity suite, according to iClarified.com on 29 September 2026.

The iPad version of Pixelmator Pro will receive a Select and Mask tool for refining selections around complex edges, while both Mac and iPad users gain new template collections for sports projects and a Podcasts category with platform‑sized cover art. In Final Cut Pro and Motion on Mac, editors can apply Cinematic mode effects to video shot on the iPhone 18 Pro, with timeline controls for focus points and depth of field. Compressor will support converting that footage to the earlier Cinematic format and adds HEVC and MPEG‑4 presets for social sharing.

Creator Studio subscribers will see new templates and themes in Keynote, Pages and Numbers; Keynote’s intelligent slide generation will create images tailored to presentations. Pages for Mac adds a Screen View mode, and Numbers introduces trigonometry, statistics and logic functions. Freeform boards will adapt to Dark Mode, support folder grouping, collaboration invites, and new Apple Intelligence Writing Tools for rewriting, proofreading and summarising handwritten notes. visionOS 27 will let users pull multiple board items into space and view 3D models together.

Apple launched the Creator Studio subscription in January, bundling its professional creative apps with premium productivity features, but the announcement did not include specific release dates for the new functionalities.
