The state will hold a draw on Oct 21 for 271 unallotted liquor shops after a deadline of Oct 19 for applications.

Vijayawada – The Andhra Pradesh government has re‑notified 271 unallotted liquor retail shops for allocation through a draw of lots on Oct 21, under its 2026‑27 retail liquor policy, according to Excise Commissioner Ch. Sridhar.
Applications, payable with a non‑refundable fee of Rs 3 lakh per shop, must be submitted online or offline by midnight on Oct 19. The lottery will be conducted at 8 am on Oct 21 in the respective district collectorates, and successful applicants will be informed the same day.
The 271 shops are divided among districts: YSR Kadapa (33), Nellore (24), Guntur (19), Tirupati (19), West Godavari (17), Prakasam (16), Anantapur (15), Anakapalli (13), Krishna (13), Bapatla (12), Palnadu (12), Markapuram (11), Srikakulam (10), Kakinada (8), Nandyal (8), Sri Sathya Sai (7), Dr B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema (6), Eluru (5), Visakhapatnam (5), Vizianagaram (5), Annamayya (4), Chittoor (3), Alluri Sitarama Raju (2), Kurnool (2) and NTR (2).
Earlier, the excise authorities had notified 3,736 liquor retail shops, of which 3,466 were already allotted, representing about 93 % of the total.
