VoxComm, the global voice of communications agency associations, announced on 30 September 2026 that Gillian Rightford and Hassan Rouissi have joined its board, creating the first seats representing Africa since the organisation was founded in 2020.
Rightford, Executive Director of the Association for Communication and Advertising, said the new seats give Africa a voice in shaping industry standards. Rouissi, President of Morocco’s Union des Agences Conseil en Communication, highlighted Morocco’s strategic position between Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
The appointments extend VoxComm’s board to four regions – North America, Europe, Oceania and now Africa – and follow the launch of its "Redesigning the Agency Value Model" guidance paper, which was presented at Cannes Lions earlier this year.
