Advance voting for Vancouver's municipal election begins Saturday, Oct. 3, with 59 sites open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to dailyhive.com. The city said it has received over 18,000 mail‑in ballot requests, a rise of more than 70 percent compared with the 10,523 packages requested for the entire 2022 election.
Voters can also cast ballots at advance locations on Oct. 7, Oct. 10 and Oct. 13, before the final day of voting on Oct. 17, when 85 polling stations will operate citywide. The civic ballot includes the mayor, city council, park‑board and school‑board seats, plus two plebiscites on a capital‑plan borrowing question and a public‑safety issue.
