WPP announced on 13 October 2026 that Tyler Turnbull, the current global CEO of McCann, will become CEO of WPP Creative in early 2027, succeeding Jon Cook.

Cindy Rose, CEO of WPP, said Turnbull is a "world‑class leader" whose ambition and global perspective will help put creativity at the centre of growth and set a new industry standard. Turnbull added that his aim is to connect WPP’s full strength to every client while protecting the distinct cultures of iconic brands and nurturing creative talent.

The appointment comes as WPP seeks to deepen the integration of its creative agencies with its media, data, production, commerce and technology assets for the AI era.
