UAE‑based skill‑tech platform Trusity was awarded second place in the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance (WBA) Startup Contest at the Annual BRICS WBA Women’s Startup Awards 2026 in New Delhi, according to Gulf News.
The competition, part of the broader BRICS Summit, drew entries from 11 member countries. Trusity’s flagship product, TruPreneurs.AI – described as the world’s first knowledge‑grounded, curriculum‑aligned AI agents platform for children and youth – was selected for its innovation and evidence of scalable impact.
Feryal Ahmadi, Deputy CEO and Chief Operating Officer of DMCC and Chair of the BRICS Women’s Business Alliance UAE Chapter, said the win demonstrates the growing potential of home‑grown technologies from the UAE and the ability of women‑led businesses to secure international partnerships and investment. She added that the BRICS WBA UAE Chapter will continue to promote such talent under China’s BRICS chairmanship in 2027.
Badreya Al Maidoor, Assistant Undersecretary of Support Services Sector at the UAE Ministry of Economy, highlighted technology’s role in empowering women entrepreneurs, noting that AI tools can improve market access, decision‑making and operational efficiency. She linked the award to broader BRICS collaboration aimed at closing funding and mentorship gaps for women in business.
TruPreneurs.AI supports students in developing their own business ideas or tackling industry‑assigned challenges through partnerships with ENOC, Spinneys, Emirates NBD and several CSR‑focused foundations. The platform has been piloted in a number of UAE schools, including GEMS Modern Academy, The Millennium School, Uptown International School (Taleem), Emirates National Schools, Dubai English Speaking College and GEMS Our Own Indian School, among others.
GEMS Modern Academy is noted as the first school worldwide to integrate the platform fully into its curriculum, marking a milestone for AI‑enhanced education in the region.
