Trump mocks Kamala Harris’ looks at Tennessee rally
The former president’s sarcastic remark drew cheers and a thumbs‑down from a woman in the audience.

President Donald Trump sarcastically referred to former Vice President Kamala Harris as “beautiful” during a campaign rally for Tennessee Republican candidates in Clarksville, Tennessee, on Saturday, according to the Independent.
Trump deviated from his prepared remarks, recalling Harris’s and President Joe Biden’s pandemic‑era campaign events and asking, “Remember that beautiful Kamala? Somebody said she’s so beautiful. Really?” Female MAGA supporters behind him laughed, with one woman giving a thumbs‑down and another shaking her head.
The remark follows previous instances where Trump has commented on Harris’s appearance, including a 2024 livestream with Elon Musk and a later rally in Pennsylvania where he warned against calling women “beautiful.” He also used the same rally to criticize his wife Melania’s reaction to his speaking style, calling her “very elegant” before promoting her documentary as the year’s top film.
