Trident Digital Tech Holdings announced on September 29 that it completed a $15 million equity raise by selling 30 million Class B ordinary shares at $0.50 each, a discount of roughly 66 percent to its September 25 closing price of $1.46 on Nasdaq.

The offering follows the company’s recent restoration of Nasdaq compliance after maintaining a market value of at least $35 million for ten consecutive business days.

Purchasers paid for the shares in USD Coin, Tether or a combination of the two. Trident said it will keep the stablecoins in its digital‑asset reserve and may convert some or all to U.S. dollars for working capital and general corporate purposes.

According to the firm’s latest SEC filing, revenue fell from $1.48 million in 2023 to just under $161,000 in 2025, an 89 percent decline, while net loss widened from $4.77 million to $22.76 million over the same period.

During the revenue downturn, Trident secured contracts to provide technology for the Democratic Republic of Congo’s DRCPass and launched a joint venture in Ghana aimed at connecting the country’s MSME sector with formal financial services.
