Brazil's squad for the historic friendly against India on Oct. 3 at Kolkata's Salt Lake Stadium will be without Barcelona forward Raphinha and Chelsea striker Joao Pedro, TimesNowNews reported.
The left‑footed Raphinha, who featured in Brazil's recent wins over Australia, returned to Barcelona after the second match and was later diagnosed by the CBF with a small muscle oedema, prompting his omission from the trip.
Joao Pedro suffered a knee injury while scoring for Chelsea in a 2‑2 draw with Hull City and missed the club's final pre‑break game against Brentford, leaving him unavailable for the international fixture.
Both players were initially listed in Carlo Ancelotti's 23‑man squad but were not included in the final travelling list, and no replacements were called up.
