Film and television producers Donna Gigliotti and Mike Farah were elected on Tuesday as the new presidents of the Producers Guild of America (PGA), succeeding Donald De Line and Stephanie Allain who had led the organisation since 2022.

In a joint statement, Gigliotti and Farah said the appointment came at a "pivotal moment for our industry" and thanked De Line and Allain for their "leadership and dedication" during a time of "profound change". They added that the PGA would continue to "embrace new opportunities for producers while maintaining a commitment to the core principles of producing".

Outgoing presidents De Line and Allain welcomed the transition, describing the new leaders as "deeply committed to supporting producers" and noting that the guild would benefit from their "distinct perspectives, deep experience and shared sense of purpose".

Gigliotti, a film producer with a record that includes the 2009 Best Picture Oscar winner Shakespeare in Love and the 2013 film Silver Linings Playbook, has produced a slate of awards‑friendly movies such as Hidden Figures and the 2023 film 80 for Brady.
